Award wall plaques

Wall award plaques with a minimalist design, made to be hung and to distinguish careers, milestones or partnerships. We design and manufacture them with a restrained approach, taking care over the cut and the finish so each piece fits the space that holds it: a reception, a boardroom or the office of the person receiving it.

They are a common form of recognition at headquarters openings, awards for partners and distributors, certifications and internal programmes. The geometric formats, in vertical or horizontal orientation, combine function and design: the shape itself solves the hanging, with no frame or loose parts.

Each plaque features a steel plate with a recycled fraction on a base that can be made of post-consumer recycled plastic, FSC-certified beech wood or recovered materials such as fishing nets, depending on the composition you are looking for.

We personalise them using two techniques:

  • Full-colour UV printing applies four-colour process over water-based paint and reproduces logos with photographic precision, with no relief or tactile variation.

  • Laser engraving creates a slight relief and a dark tone through oxidation, with great definition in text and fine lines.

FAQ about Award wall plaques

What's the difference between a wall award plaque and a freestanding one?

Each format serves a different purpose. The wall-mounted version hangs on the wall, which brings several advantages:

  • Takes up no surface space: it keeps your desk or shelf clear.
  • Keeps the recognition permanently on display.
  • Because it sits on a vertical plane, it's read head-on, giving it more presence to convey a company achievement or an institutional distinction.
  • Lets you hang several side by side, handy when you want to group a number of awards together.

They usually call for a hanging system.

The freestanding version rests on its base and is easier to move around. It suits a more personal kind of recognition, meant to be kept within reach.

How do your award wall plaques hang?

The steel sheet with recycled content is folded over along the top edge to form a rail with two keyhole slots. That rail rests on two anchor points fixed to the wall. No frame or extra hardware is needed: the award has the mounting system built in.

Do you need to drill to hang your plaques?

Not always. Since they're light — between 400 g and just over 1 kg depending on the model — in many cases you can hang them with adhesive, no drilling required.

Our first recommendation is Command-style adhesive strips. Indoors, on a smooth painted wall, they hold the weight with room to spare (the small ones take up to 1.8 kg and the large ones over 7 kg) and come off without damaging the paint as long as you follow the instructions.

Adhesive hooks work too, though they're a little less discreet. And if you'd rather have a more permanent fix, there's always the option of two screws.

What award wall plaque models do you offer?

We have four award plaque models with a built-in hanging system on the back:

  1. MINI Award Plaque — 12 × 12 cm, 3 cm thick. Square format, the smallest. A good choice for an individual award.
  2. MAXI Award Plaque — 18 × 18 cm, 3.5 cm thick. Square format, larger than the MINI.
  3. A5 Award Plaque — 14 × 21 cm. Portrait format.
  4. A4 Award Plaque — 29.6 × 21.2 cm. Landscape format and larger.

They all share the same rail with two keyhole slots along the top edge, resting on two anchor points fixed to the wall.

Can they be hung outdoors?

It depends on the base material. Those with a recycled-plastic base and a steel sheet with recycled content hold up well outdoors; the wooden ones, on the other hand, are designed for indoor use only.
