Retirement plaques

Retirement plaques that condense years of shared work into a single gesture. Each model is made from sober materials such as FSC-certified wood, post-consumer recycled plastic or % recycled steel, selected for their mechanical properties, dimensional stability and compatibility with direct printing techniques.

To personalize retirement plaques, we use two technical methods:

  • Laser engraving works by oxidation, creating a slight texture and revealing the underlying color of the material. It doesn't allow color control but offers great definition for text and fine lines.

  • Full-color UV printing applies ink directly onto the surface, allows four-color printing and offers full color control, with no relief or tactile variations.

The collection combines square and rectangular formats, such as classic DIN plaques, with models that introduce more subtle variations. GEM or PERGAMINE, for example, add folds or diagonal cuts that break symmetry. Others, like SUNSET or PAI PAI, opt for softer, more enveloping contours. This variety allows each piece to adapt to the tone of the event, from formal ceremonies to more personal, shared farewells.

Retirement is a moment that marks the end of a complete chapter. Honouring it with a retirement plaque made with aesthetic intention and recycled materials reflects the same values that have shaped that journey.

FAQ about Retirement plaques

We are celebrating several retirements at once — can we personalise each retirement plaque separately?

Of course! You can upload a .zip file with all the texts from the configurator, under the Design section.

If you'd prefer us to handle the design, use the comments field in that same section to provide names, messages or any specific instructions.

What is the difference between laser engraving and UV printing on commemorative retirement plaques?

Laser engraving reacts chemically with the material's surface, producing a mark with a slight texture and the underlying colour of the substrate. It does not allow chromatic control, but delivers a clean and precise result — ideal for retirement plaques featuring straightforward text and no complex graphic elements.

UV printing, on the other hand, applies full-colour ink directly onto the surface, achieving accurate four-colour printing and complete colour control. It is the recommended option when the commemorative retirement plaque includes logos, symbols or graphic elements that must adhere to the organisation's visual identity.

What text can I put on my retirement plaque?

You can read our blog article featuring messages for someone who is retiring, with real-life examples of phrases, messages and wording ideas.

It will help you define the tone and content of the message based on the type of relationship or occasion.

Can a logo be added to retirement plaques as well as text?

Yes. With UV printing we can apply the logo in four-colour print (reproducing images in photographic quality) flat and with high colour fidelity.

With laser engraving, the result has a slight relief and displays the colour that naturally emerges when the laser reacts with the material's surface.

If you have any doubts, we'll advise you once we have received the company's logo or brandbook.

How can I personalise a retirement plaque?

All our plaques are personalised through the product configurator: you can choose the model, printing technique, texts, logo and other details.

Do you have examples of retirement plaques we can use as a reference?

Yes, absolutely. Below you will find three real-life examples from companies that chose one of our plaques to celebrate this special moment in the right way.

Our retirement recognition plaques combine a steel sheet with recycled content and a fully customised design that reflects the retiree's career, the company's identity and the significance of the occasion.

The format, size and base material vary depending on the model — from compact vertical pieces to wider horizontal compositions that tell a more complete story.

Some designs, such as the A5 Plaque, feature a vertical format with a recycled stone base, ideal for a personal and emotionally meaningful dedication.

Example of a retirement plaque

"In recognition and gratitude for a whole lifetime of work and dedication. Your colleagues thank you for all your effort and, proud of everything you have achieved, wish you the very best as you begin this new chapter. Happy retirement!"

Other models, such as the A4 Plaque, offer a wider landscape format with a natural beechwood base, perfect for commemorating milestones such as years of service, company acquisitions or key achievements throughout a professional career.

Example of a retirement plaque

"A legacy that leaves its mark — 21 acquisitions, 17 years. Thank you for your leadership and commitment to the company's growth."

In models such as the Sunset Plaque, the circular format on a recycled stone base takes centre stage, making it an elegant and distinctive choice for commemorating anniversaries or long-service recognition.
