Sustain Awards: trophy maker since 2015
Sustain Awards is a design and manufacturing studio for trophies, award plaques and recognition pieces for award ceremonies, galas and corporate events.
Since 2015, it has been designing trophies with clean, essential shapes and a minimalist look, and making them entirely in the EU. The range of finishes runs from matte and satin surfaces to stone-look textures with an even grain.
The trophies are made for companies, federations and event organizers. Every design is validated before it goes into production, whether it is a collection model or a custom piece.

How we work
Sustain Awards works with two ranges: a collection of personalized trophies and custom projects.
To start an order, the client provides the quantity, the event date, the delivery and billing details, and the personalization material: logos, texts and the names of the winners. For collection orders, they also specify the model.
Orders of fewer than 5 units for collection models are processed through the website, which also handles larger quantities.
Collection
The personalized trophies in the collection are ready-designed models: the work focuses on graphic personalization, which reflects the identity of the brand or event.
It is applied with the logo, texts and winners' names using full-color UV printing or single-color laser engraving.
For urgent collection orders, up to 100 units ship within 24 hours to Spain, 48 hours to the EU and 72 hours to the rest of the world.
- Totems: tall, slender trophies with a plate mounted on a base. They have an institutional presence and are intended for galas and award ceremonies.
- Award Plaques: flat trophies. They are used to mark milestones, pay tribute and say thank you, as in retirements and recognition awards.
- Medals: with a 20 × 900 mm ribbon, black as standard. They are presented at competitions and galas.
The collection also includes acrylic awards, monolithic and 25 mm thick.

Custom projects
The custom trophies, designed and manufactured from scratch with no pre-existing model, have a geometry, material and finish defined for each event. No design is ever reused for another order. They follow four phases:
- Briefing: aesthetics, purpose, schedule and budget.
- Concept: clean shapes, materials and finishes.
- Development: technical drawings, photorealistic renders and a fixed quote, over two or three design rounds, taking the concept through to the final design.
- Manufacturing: production and assembly, one piece at a time.
Custom trophies come in several forms:
3D trophies
Sustain Awards designs and manufactures 3D trophies from a logo, a shape or an idea. The technology can reproduce complex shapes and fine typographic details, in the brand's exact color.
- Technology: SLA, MSLA and SLS, with tolerances of ±0.1 mm.
- Post-processing: manual sanding and filling, and two-component industrial paint in RAL, NCS or Pantone.
- Finishes: matte, satin or gloss, with stone, metal, concrete or ceramic textures.
- Weight: from 400 g to 1,500 g, with mineral fillers or metal powder.
- Lead time: 3 weeks from design approval, and 5 weeks if concept development is included.

Deal toys & financial tombstones
Sustain Awards makes deal toys and financial tombstones to mark the closing of financial transactions. The financial tombstone follows a sober, formal design; the deal toy, a more figurative one.

What sets us apart
Design
The graphic design team prepares the artwork from the client's logo and texts. Every model includes a 3D and augmented reality viewer. The AI trophy generator creates six personalization prototypes instantly from a collection model.
Service
The ideal lead time is 1 week with a final design and 2 weeks if the design has to be created. With specific paint colors and custom manufacturing, it is 1 month. The website estimates the lead time as soon as you enter the quantity and generates a downloadable quote instantly.
Quality
Collection trophies are personalized on a steel plate with recycled content, coated with water-based paint. Water-based paint contains fewer volatile organic compounds than solvent-based paint. UV printing is done with Roland DG equipment.
Materials
The trophies are made from the following materials:
- Beech wood
- Post-consumer plastic
- Recycled fishing nets
- 100% recycled acrylic
- Steel with recycled content
- Rubber from end-of-life tires
The packaging consists of individual cases made from 100% recycled Pankaster at 600 g/m², with a concrete finish. Each one is personalized individually, with no minimum order.
Sustainability
Inèdit Innovació, S.L., an independent environmental consultancy, carries out the life cycle assessment of specific models in accordance with ISO 14040, using the Ecoinvent 3.10 (2024) database. The benchmark is the same trophy manufactured in China, adjusted for weight. Models with a completed study include an Environmental Information label on their product page, a self-declaration that can be downloaded as a PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Lead times depend on the type of order:
- Rush shipping for collection models: up to 100 units in 24 hours to Spain, 48 hours to the EU and 72 hours to the rest of the world.
- Ideal lead time: 1 week if the client supplies the final design and 2 weeks if the design has to be created.
- Specific paint colors and custom manufacturing: 1 month.
- Black Friday and Christmas: carriers take longer, so it pays to allow a few extra days.
Sustain Awards delivers the trophies to the agreed destination and tracks the shipment throughout the process.
On painted steel plate, the closest RAL to the specified Pantone is used. For UV printing, an RGB approximation is used, adjusted for the best visual match.
Acrylic trophies have two printable sides, front and back, which makes it possible to create depth effects. Acrylic is transparent, so opaque areas are created with additional layers of opaque ink, which are planned into the final artwork.
Each type of trophy has its own technique:
- Collection trophies: full-color UV printing or single-color laser engraving.
- 3D trophies: two-component industrial paint in RAL, NCS or Pantone.
- Medal ribbon: screen printing, from 20 units, or UV printing, from 50 units.
Every model includes a 3D viewer and an augmented reality viewer that shows the trophy at true scale in the client's own space. A downloadable high-definition image pack is also available. In the first phase, the client can evaluate the model without physical prototypes.
