Acrylic award plaques

Our acrylic award plaques are manufactured from 100% recycled acrylic (post-industrial and post-consumer recycled PMMA) through a chemical recycling process: the surplus material is depolymerised back to its original monomer (MMA) and repolymerised from scratch. The result is a sheet with purity equivalent to virgin acrylic, producing approximately 3,000 kg less CO₂ per tonne with no blending with virgin material and no partial percentages.

Each plaque is precision-cut and edge-polished to achieve a perfectly transparent finish. With over 90% light transmittance, the polished edge acts as an optical frame that enhances the legibility of the front design.

As a single-piece acrylic plaque:

  • Seamless surface: ideal for laser engraving, full-colour printing and high-resolution customisation.
  • Dimensional stability for permanent wall display, with no adhesives or joints that degrade over time.
  • No assembly stress points.

FAQ about Acrylic award plaques

Why choose recycled acrylic for my award plaques?

100% recycled acrylic combines three properties that no other material offers together:

  1. Durability. It absorbs impact from handling roughly 13 times better than glass and won't warp under normal conditions. Wood reacts to humidity, and chrome finishes on metal show fingerprints and scuffs. The plaque keeps its smooth, glossy surface for years.
  2. Clarity. It lets through more than 90% of light, outperforming standard glass. The polished edges create clear, transparent lines that make engraving or printing easier to read — something neither wood nor chrome-plated metal can offer.
  3. Lower environmental impact. We start from recycled acrylic, not virgin raw material. Making use of material that already exists means no new extraction and a smaller footprint compared to other materials.

The result is an award that holds its clarity and finish where other materials fall short.

Which acrylic award plaque size do you recommend for each type of event?

We make seven sizes, all in a solid block, 2.5 cm thick. As a general guide, each one suits a different type of recognition depending on its size and the surface available for personalization:

Round plaques

  • SOL-S (Ø 12 cm). The most compact size, with plenty of room for a logo and name. Designed for individual recognitions.
  • SOL-M (Ø 15 cm). A mid-sized surface. We recommend it for employee awards or for mentions within a broader recognition program.
  • SOL-L (Ø 19 cm). The largest of the round sizes. It works well for awards to partners or standout collaborators, with more room for the category and citation.

Square plaques

  • MINI (12 × 12 cm). A small square format, meant for internal mentions and individual recognitions.
  • MAXI (18 × 18 cm). A square format with more surface area. Well suited to awards for teams or company departments, with room for several lines of text.

Rectangular plaques

  • A5 (14.8 × 21 cm). A vertical format that works well for executive recognitions and institutional honors, with logo, name, and title.
  • A4 (29.7 × 21 cm). Our largest format. A great option for company anniversaries, board-level recognitions, or top-tier executive award programs, with room for a logo, name, category, citation, and date.

Are your acrylic award plaques a sustainable choice?

Yes. Sustainability is built into the material itself, not added on afterward. We start from recycled post-industrial and post-consumer PMMA, fully regenerated.

We don't use sheets with a partial recycled content: the acrylic is 100% recycled, and at the end of its life, it can be recycled again.

Can you make custom acrylic award plaques?

Yes. Beyond our standard sizes, we design custom trophies from scratch based on your brief: shape, dimensions, acrylic color, and graphic personalization.

Two recent examples in recycled acrylic:

    • The Forum, Atlético de Madrid 2026. A circular shape in blue recycled acrylic, paired with a steel plate with recycled content, split diagonally.

    • Rillet Postscript 2026. A prism-shaped award in translucent acrylic, with a purple-to-violet gradient applied via UV printing and personalized text.

A custom project is genuine industrial design work: we define the shape, materials, and finishes before production begins.

How can I personalize my acrylic award plaque?

Right from the product page, in just a few steps:

  1. Sides to personalize. Choose whether the design goes on 1 side or 2.
  2. Design finish. Choose from three options: Color · UV Print for full-color designs or gradients, Black and White · Laser for a logo and text in a single tone, or No personalization.
  3. Who creates the design. You can have us design it, or upload your own file.
    • If we design it, we just need the content to include (logo, text, and the names of the recipients) and, if you have one, your brand guidelines, so we can prepare a personalization that matches your identity.
    • If you design it yourself, download the template, review the guidelines, and upload your design as a PDF. You can also send it to us later by email.

In the graphic design section, you'll find supporting materials to download: a design template, a packaging template, an image pack, personalization examples, and the complete design kit.

Before production, we review the full design together with you.
