Acrylic awards
Our acrylic awards are made from 100% recycled acrylic (post-industrial and post-consumer recycled PMMA), made from technical sheets through a chemical recycling process. Surplus material is broken down to its base monomer (MMA) and repolymerized into acrylic with the same purity as virgin material. Each piece is precision-cut and edge-polished, giving crystal-clear edges that sharpen the graphics and keep the design perfectly legible.
The result is a rigid, stable piece with high light transmission, suitable for graphic personalisation.
We are the first manufacturer to offer a complete collection of trophies made entirely from 100% recycled acrylic. We do not use sheets with partial recycled content. We work with fully regenerated material.
As a single-block acrylic trophy:
- Transparency and rigidity are fully preserved.
- Optimal response to machining and engraving.
- With no assembly between parts, there are no tension points during mounting.
Sustainability is a technical condition of the material. It is not the central argument of the product.
If you are preparing an event, share the date and estimated quantity with us. We will send you a clear, well-defined proposal for your acrylic trophies.
FAQ about Acrylic awards
Why is an acrylic trophy better than a conventional glass one?
Acrylic offers three direct advantages over conventional glass:
- Weight: the same piece weighs roughly half as much as its glass equivalent, making it easier to transport and handle during the event.
- Durability: recycled acrylic resists surface deformation well. Under normal indoor display conditions, the piece keeps its shape and appearance over time.
- Transparency: acrylic lets through more than 90% of light, giving it slightly greater transparency than conventional glass.
Do you make custom acrylic trophies with a company logo?
Yes. We personalise our acrylic trophies with the logo, event name, category and any other graphic element the client requires.
Customisation is applied through direct UV colour printing or laser engraving, depending on the level of detail and contrast needed.
How durable are acrylic trophies?
Very durable. Recycled acrylic absorbs impact well (13 times better than glass) and doesn't deform under normal conditions, so the piece keeps its appearance over time.
Are your acrylic trophies a sustainable choice?
Yes. We don't use materials with only a partial recycled content: the starting sheet is 100% recycled acrylic. The acrylic we use is certified as a recycled and recyclable material.
How does a custom acrylic trophy look different from a conventional trophy?
A conventional trophy splits the object into two components: a generic base and an engraved plate. Materials, colours and shapes repeat from one manufacturer to the next, with little variation between catalogues.
With a custom acrylic trophy, the shape, volume and graphic personalisation all come together in a single object. Laser engraving and full-colour printing read clearly from any angle, with no base or stand competing visually with the design.
Clean lines, a polished finish and translucency define the piece as a whole, not just the engraved surface.
Do they scratch easily?
Acrylic trophies have a lower surface hardness than trophies made from other materials, such as glass. They can scratch if dragged across hard surfaces or cleaned with abrasive materials.
They don't need any special care, but they do call for careful handling: keep the protective film on until delivery and clean with a microfibre cloth.
In a typical event or exhibition setting, with standard handling, they hold their finish well.
Does the trophy need a base to stand properly?
No. A single block of recycled acrylic has enough rigidity and weight on its own to stand upright without any extra support.
A separate base is a concept inherited from mass production that, in this format, adds nothing structurally.
All customisation — laser engraving, full-colour printing, transparency effects — is applied directly to the trophy, so the absence of a base takes nothing away from the design possibilities.
When should you choose a totem over an acrylic plaque?
The main difference lies in the customisable surface area each format offers.
The totem has a smaller surface, making it well suited to concise personalisation: the event logo and the winner's name.
The award plaque has a notably larger surface, allowing more information to be included without affecting legibility: logo, winner's name, category, reason for the award and date.

What are the advantages of a single-block acrylic trophy over one with a base and plate?
A single-block trophy has no joins, so there are no stress points at assembly.
In a conventional trophy with a base and plate, the joints between components are exactly where mechanical stress builds up. Working from a single piece of recycled acrylic removes that problem entirely.
What's more, with no joins involved, protective packaging is simpler and more reliable during transport.
