Wooden trophies

Wood trophies made from solid beech with FSC certification from European forests. We select straight, knot-free and even-grain pieces, suitable for CNC machining in EU workshops and for a manual finishing that stabilises edges and surfaces before applying the graphic layer.

On the beech base we mount a sheet of partially recycled steel, coated with non-toxic water-based paint. This build enables laser engraving —monochrome finish— or full-colour UV printing, ideal for logos, gradients and compositions with photographic detail.

Both customisation techniques integrate without altering the natural tone of beech, and avoid varnishes or treatments that would modify its colour.

The collection includes all-wood designs such as the Tótem Log, and models with a beech base such as the PAI PAI Plaque or the Tótem BASIC.

Wood trophies designed for corporate events that seek to recognise careers and achievements with a piece of minimalist, sustainable and coherent design aligned with the visual identity of the event.

FAQ about Wooden trophies

How can I verify the sustainability of the wooden trophy I purchase?

Each piece includes an eco-label with a quantitative breakdown of the environmental impact saved.

What customization options do wooden trophies offer?

Customization is available through engraving or UV printing, applied on FSC beech wood with a polished surface.

Engraving provides a clean and permanent finish. UV printing allows the use of color, although the natural texture and absorption of beech wood may reduce the definition of very fine details or photographic compositions.

For best results, we recommend using clean graphics, clear lines and highly legible typefaces to ensure accurate visual clarity on the wooden surface.

¿Qué material utilizáis para la fabricación de vuestros trofeos de madera?

We use FSC-certified beech wood.

It is selected for its stable density, its minimal presence of knots, and its predictable behavior during machining.

The wood comes from European suppliers with full traceability, ensuring consistent tone, grain and moisture levels.

What process does the wood used in the trophies follow?

The FSC beech wood we use goes through a controlled process to ensure stability, precision, and uniformity in every piece:

  • Kiln drying to 8–12% moisture content to prevent deformation and internal stress during machining.

  • Manual selection of straight boards with no visible knots and a uniform grain.

  • CNC machining in local workshops with a maximum tolerance of ±1 mm.

  • Manual finishing and adjustment of each block to stabilise edges and ensure a continuous surface.

This process provides a technically stable base suitable for the precision required in the graphic customization of our FSC wooden trophies, ensuring consistency in form, surface and behavior throughout production.

What does “FSC beech wood” actually mean?

The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification indicates that the wood comes from forests managed under environmental, social and chain-of-custody responsibility standards.

In practice, this ensures:

  • Controlled origin: registered batches with no mixing of non-certified wood.

  • Full traceability: each piece can be tracked from the European supplier to the workshop.

  • Quality stability: uniform grain, medium-high density (≈720 kg/m³) and low variability in tone.

For us, this certification is an additional requirement —not the central argument— within a process where material quality, machining precision and visual coherence with the brand take priority in our wooden trophies.

What designs of wooden trophies do you work with and how do they vary depending on the model?

All our awards combine a wooden base with a steel plate with % recycled content.

When we refer to wooden trophies, we mean models whose base is entirely made of FSC-certified beech, with dimensions and proportions that vary depending on the design.

Some designs, such as the PAI PAI Plaque, feature a minimal cylindrical base where the focus is on the engraved metal plate.

Others, like the GEM Plaque, offer a balanced presence of wood and metal in equal parts.

In models such as the BIS Totem or LOG Totem, wood takes the lead, with a rectangular format.

What advantages does wood offer over other materials in the manufacture of a trophy?

From a technical standpoint, beech provides a dense and dimensionally stable structure —around 700 kg/m³— which allows for clean milling, tight tolerances and uniform surfaces ready for customization.

In terms of presence, wood offers a neutral and understated base, suitable for events that require a recognizable material with clear graphic readability and no synthetic coatings that could alter its appearance.

What material is the plate made of where the customization is applied?

In our wooden trophies, as in the rest of our catalogue, we use a steel plate with a recycled-content percentage, finished with water-based, non-toxic paint.

On this surface we apply customization using laser engraving or full-color UV printing, depending on the design requirements.
