What makes a padel trophy iconic?
More than a fixed definition, what makes a padel trophy iconic is a visual pattern that recurs throughout the tour. Three features capture that pattern: the large format, the metallic finishes and the geometric shapes that nod to the game:
- Large format: tall vertical structures.
- Polished metallic finishes: combinations of silver and gold tones.
- Geometric shapes: they evoke the padel racket, the cup or chalice, or the ball.
The pattern is not a fixed rule. It varies from one tournament to the next and sets trends, yet keeps a consistent line that makes the awards recognizable from one edition to another.
The Premier Padel trophy: P1, P2 and Majors tournaments
The Premier Padel tour launched in 2022 and organizes its tournaments into three categories: Majors, P1 and P2. Each one awards a different number of points in the FIP ranking, with the Majors carrying the most weight.
The tour trophy has a vertical structure of geometric lines that nod to the ball and the racket. Its size varies with the tournament's standing: the Majors get the largest format. These features place it among the most iconic padel trophies on today's tour.
Production changes from one edition to the next: some turn to 3D printing.
The Premier Padel Finals trophy in Barcelona
The Premier Padel Finals have closed the season at Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi since 2024, every December. They bring together the 16 best men's pairs and the 16 best women's pairs in the FIP Race ranking. The first edition under Premier Padel was held in 2024.
The Finals trophy was unveiled in December 2024 by Octagon and Premier Padel. It crowns the season's Masters, both men and women. It is a tall, large-format award with a gold finish, with three defining features:
- A curved top that opens out into a spiral.
- A perforated surface.
- A rounded base bearing the Premier Padel logo.

The Padel World Championship trophy
The Padel World Championship pits national teams against each other, not individual pairs. The International Padel Federation has organized it every two years since 1992. The 2024 edition was played in Doha, Qatar, with 16 teams per draw.
The World Championship trophy is large, with a gold metallic finish. At the Dubai 2022 edition, a sphere representing the ball rose above spiraling columns set on a circular base. It is lifted by the winning teams, which makes it the most prestigious padel trophy contested between nations. Argentina, with 12 men's titles, is the team that has lifted it the most.

The World Padel Tour Master Final trophy
The World Padel Tour was the leading professional tour between 2013 and 2023. Its Master Final closed the season and brought together the 16 best pairs in each ranking. After its takeover by Qatar Sports Investments, the tour merged into Premier Padel before 2024.
The Master Final was played in pairs, like the rest of the tour. Its trophy was large, with a metallic surface and a curved body. Each member of the winning pair received a trophy. Put together, the two formed the silhouette of a padel racket. Today they are regarded as collector's trophies within the sport's recent history.

3D printing in padel trophies
Among the techniques reshaping the production of sports trophies, 3D printing stands out for its flexibility and precision. Unlike traditional methods, it builds the trophy layer by layer from a digital model, with no molds. The most widespread technique is FDM, which adds molten material in successive layers.
The usual material is PLA, or polylactic acid, a plant-based, biodegradable bioplastic. This technique reproduces shapes that a mold cannot, giving rise to 3D trophies with a unique design for each tournament.
