An industrial designer with a notable background, including a Master's in Advanced Studies in Luxury and Craft Design from L’Ecal in Switzerland, a degree in Industrial Design from EINA in Barcelona, and a postgraduate degree in Digital Industrial Design from Elisava School in Barcelona.
In 2003, he interned at André Ricard’s Studio and, after collaborating with various companies and designers in design and engineering, he founded Jordi Pla Studio in 2011. Since then, he has worked on a wide range of projects in sectors such as furniture, lighting, urban furniture, kitchenware, accessories, and packaging. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the Silver and Bronze Delta and the If Design Award.
Since 2018, he has been a faculty member at institutions such as Escola Eina and IED Barcelona and is the Director of the Online Master's in Industrial Design at LABASAD.
